post-Future is a direct followup to my previous album, Brand New Awakening. The story I told between the two albums had been (And really still HAS been) slowly building in my mind. There's a specific feel to this album I'm so proud I've managed to accomplish, it feels like a perfect closure to the entire chapter of my life that it and Brand New Awakening were made in. Throughout my entire journey with music production, I've been developing the style that I believe reached it's complete, final form on this album. I believe this album features some of my absolute best compositional and prouction work ever. "evaC ehT klaw" was the first song of mine to feature live guitar, and the cover of They Might Be Giants' "Space Suit" was the first (real) recording of mine that featured vocals of mine that I genuinely thought was, y'know, good! Incredible, even! I feel like for so many reasons, this album is the perfect closing of this chapter, and a perfect hinting as to whats next. The amount this album means to me cannot be understated.
