Ascension is a sort of compilation of music I made throughout 2023. "Groove City" and the titular "Ascension" were written out of a sort of prototype version of the Brand New Awakening story, "Mystery MIDI" (mystery.mid) was one of the first original songs I wrote as a MIDI file. Throughout the year of 2023, I really started finding my musical sound, the songs that appear on this album were extremely important to me as a musician, and a producer.
